In a shocking revelation, the House Oversight Committee has obtained financial records through a subpoena to Bank of America, which show that members of the Biden family received over $1 million in payments in 2017 from accounts related to Hunter Biden’s business associate Rob Walker and their Chinese ventures.
This raises serious questions about the Biden family’s connections to foreign entities and the national security implications of these financial ties.
Rob Walker, who worked closely with Hunter Biden, President Biden’s brother Jim, James Gilliar, and Tony Bobulinksi, was involved in a joint venture called Sinohawk Holdings.
This partnership was intended to connect with the Chinese energy firm CEFC.
The financial records obtained by the committee reveal that at least three family members received substantial payments from Walker’s bank account, labeled as “Robinson Walker, LLC.”
One of these recipients was Hallie Biden, the widow of President Biden’s son Beau. According to the records, on March 1, 2017, State Energy HK Limited, a separate Chinese company, wired $3 million to Robinson Walker, LLC.
The following day, Robinson Walker, LLC transferred $1,065,000 to European Energy and Infrastructure Group in Abu Dhabi, a company associated with James Gilliar, who was a business partner of Hunter Biden.
After receiving the $3 million from State Energy HK Limited, the Biden family members and their companies started receiving incremental payments over approximately three months.
The recipients included Hallie Biden, companies associated with Hunter Biden and James Biden, and an unknown bank account identified as “Biden.”
The House Oversight Committee, led by Chairman James Comer, R-Ky., is deeply concerned about the national security implications of President Biden’s family receiving millions of dollars from foreign nationals.
The committee will continue to investigate whether President Biden is compromised by his family’s business schemes and if there is a potential national security threat.
In response to the financial records, the White House did not deny the findings but instead criticized Comer and the committee’s investigation into the Biden family.
However, a spokesperson for Hunter Biden’s legal team confirmed the payments while downplaying their significance.
