Former Arizona gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake has accused her political opponents of targeting her for exposing what she says is election fraud in her state. Lake warned her supporters that “The establishment wants to ARREST ME for exposing fraud in the 2022 Election” and made the same claim in a tweet last month.
In her challenge, Lake focused on problems with ballot printers at some polling places in Maricopa County, home to more than 60% of the state’s voters. She alleged that the ballot printer problem were the result of intentional misconduct.
The Arizona Court of Appeals rejected Lake’s assertions, concluding that she presented no evidence that voters whose ballots were unreadable by tabulators at polling places were not able to vote.
While Kari Lake’s claims have been rejected by the Arizona Court of Appeals, her supporters remain defiant. Republicans see her as a strong and passionate voice for their cause, and her determination to fight for what she believes in is commendable.
