Republicans should also recognize that deporting all illegal immigrants is not only costly and inefficient, but potentially cruel. We must find a way to provide an opportunity for those who are here illegally to become citizens without fear of being deported.
Republicans should lead the charge in providing meaningful immigration reform that will make our country safer, stronger, and more prosperous.
By working together, Republicans can create an immigration system that is fair and just while still maintaining our nation’s security.
