The island, once a peaceful retreat, has seen a surge in real estate prices, making it nearly impossible for average individuals to afford a home. The average home sale price on the island was a staggering $2.1 million in the first half of 2023.
Long-time resident Jim Powell lamented, “Martha’s Vineyard has been socially engineered for the elite of the Democrat National Party.” The island’s transformation is not just about real estate prices but also about the growing intolerance towards diverse opinions.
While Harris and the elites enjoy their lavish gatherings, the island’s original inhabitants are being forced to leave. It’s a scandal that has conservatives talking and questioning the priorities of the current administration.
